A musical feast waited visitors at Larnaka Airport on September 27. In collaboration with Avantgarde, Hermes Airports celebrated World Tourism Day by hosting an original piano recital by internationally acclaimed pianist and composer Savvas Savva. The event is part of The Piano Tour, a cultural initiative that brings classical music everywhere.
In the second quarter of 2025, the job vacancy rate was 2.2 percent in the euro area, a decrease from 2.4 percent in the first quarter of the current and from 2.6 percent in the second quarter of 2024, according to the figures published by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.

For the period of January – August 2025, arrivals of tourists totalled 3.034.155 compared to 2.758.627 in the corresponding period of 2024, recording an increase of 10 percent.
Based on the results of the Passengers Survey carried out by the Statistical Service, Cyprus revenue from tourism reached EUR422,3 million this June, recording an increase of 9,6 percent as compared to the corresponding month of 2024 (EUR385,2 million).
