The Leptos Group of Companies has recently carried out a five-day blood donation campaign, as part of a blood donation campaign organised by the Paphos Coordinating Committee of Blood Donation (SEAD) and the support of the medical team of the IASIS Hospital.
The Cyprus Shipping Chamber (CSC), as the trade association of the shipping industry in Cyprus, held its second blood donation drive for the year, with the supportive participation of its shipping member-companies employees, on December 15 at the Agios Georgios Havouzas Reception Hall, in Limassol.
Leptos Estates initiated a blood donation campaign, in memory of its founder and executive chairman, Michael Leptos, who passed away earlier this year. The staff blood donation, that took place at the Group’s headquarters in Paphos, is an ongoing initiative that forms part of Leptos’ community support mission.

“Every day, blood transfusions take place in an effort to save the lives of many people in Cyprus and abroad. Blood donation is a healthy practice that helps in treating bleeding disorders, chronic anemia, cancer, and other blood abnormalities,” said Stella Delitsikou, human resources executive, Leptos Estates.
With the newly adopted slogan, ‘Everyone can save a life,’ Leptos Estates continues to contribute to the society according to the Group’s vision of supporting its employees, their families, and the community.
‘Anyone can save lives’ was the new slogan adopted by Leptos Estates for their 16th Annual Blood Donation which was organised by the management and employees of the company in collaboration with the Paphos Coordinating Committee of Blood Donation (SEAD) and supported by the medical team of the Paphos IASIS Hospital.

Leptos Estates 14th Annual Blood Donation with the slogan Donate blood - Save a Life – Give Blood, took place at the Leptos Group’s headquarters in Paphos, with the intention to support the blood bank of Paphos General Hospital and to help Leptos employees and their families as well as those in need.
