Hotelbeds has reported a surge in the number of travellers booking eco-friendly hotels.

Hotelbeds has seen a significant rebound in demand since the start of this year, including securing its best booking fortnight by revenue in its history, securing more reservations from January 09-22 than ever before. During peak times, Hotelbeds recorded one booking per second.

Hotelbeds has hired Daniel Nordholm in a newly-created leadership position focusing on enabling financial services. Nordholm will be part of the company’s executive committee and report directly to CEO, Nicolas Huss.

After a pandemic-induced hiatus, Hotelbeds’ iconic MarketHubs will return this year, bringing together key decision-makers and influencers from across the global travel industry.
