Four GSP Athletes at European Championships

Four Pancyprian Gymnastic Association (GSP) athletes were selected for Cyprus’ mission at the European Athletics Championships Berlin 2018.

Approximately 1,500 athletes from around Europe will be in action in Germany's capital from August 06 – 12 to participate in the championships which feature both male and female athletes.

The Cypriot mission is made up of seven male athletes and four female athletes. The GSP athletes ate Apostolos Parellis competing in the discus throw, Christos Demetriou competing in the 800 m race, Olivia Photopoulou competing in the 800 m race and Natalia Evangellidou competing in the 1,500 m race.

Berlin is co-hosting the event with Glasgow, Scotland, with the event in both cities bringing together a total of 4,500 elite athletes from 52 nations in 10 days of televised competition in seven sports.
