The European Community Shipowners Associations (ECSA), which includes the national shipowners' associations of the European Union, held a meeting of its board of directors on June 30, in Brussels.

The best performing month for this year, so far, was June, with Cyprus’ total passenger traffic surpassing one million passengers (Larnaca Airport: 650,519 – Paphos Airport: 358,550), and the average aircraft load factor reaching 87 percent (87 percent arriving and 86.2 percent departing).


The Cyprus Council of Ministers, during a session on June 21, approved the proposal of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works for the development policy of creating public facilities facilities including sanitary facilities and recharging stations in the network of highways of Cyprus. 

Throughout the month of May, Melco Cyprus, operator of Cyprus Casinos (C2) and the upcoming integrated resort (IR) City of Dreams Mediterranean, organised a voluntary environmental awareness art competition for Limassol primary school pupils.
