Pervolia and Voroklini in the Larnaca district have experienced beach erosion with 23 m of beach lost according to Larnaca Tourism Board.

The tourism board and the Voroklini and Pervolia community councils called on the government to proceed with the construction of another seven breakwaters on the Voroklini coast and nine in Pervolia.

30 major projects due to either begin or be completed this year are set to significantly upgrade Larnaca’s infrastructure, accessibility and facilities, announced Larnaka Tourism Board.

For the fourth consecutive year, Hermes Airports participated in a clean-up event in Pervolia which was organised by Vantage Airport Group, in collaboration with several non-profit organisations including the environmental group Greenovation of the Pervolia Community Council.
