Larnaka Tourism Board (LTB) held its annual trade tour for employees in the tourism and hotel industry today with the aim of familiarising them with new or lesser-known places of interest and tourist activities within Larnaca region.
Cyprus Airways, the flag carrier of the island, has established the 'Cyprus Airways Flying Academy'. This flight training organisation offers EASA Flight training courses, ranging from private to commercial and airline transport Licenses, with type ratings to follow soon.
In 2023, there were 6.3 million commercial flights in the EU. The number of flights remained below pre-pandemic levels in 2019 (7.0 million).
In 2022, EU countries produced 4.8 million pairs of skis and snowboards, an increase of 37 percent when compared with 2021. Almost half of these items (2.2 million; 45 percent) were produced in Austria.
