City of Dreams Mediterranean Integrated Casino Resort, has been officially announced as the European Casino Association’s (ECA) 29th member. At the general assembly of ECA, the association’s board accepted City of Dreams Mediterranean's membership application, after the company subscribed to ECA’s code of conduct and it was decided that it meets the association’s strict membership criteria.

On the basis of the results of the Cyprus Passenger Survey, revenue from tourism in November 2018 reached EUR91,9 million, recording an increase of 2,7 percent compared to the corresponding month of 2017, while in December 2018 revenue from tourism reached EUR56,4 million recording an increase of 1,1 percent as compared to December 2017.

The global travel and tourism sector grew at 3,9 percent to contribute a record USD8,8 trillion and 319 million jobs to the world economy in 2018. For the eighth consecutive year, this was above the growth rate of world GDP.

Cyprus residents that returned from a trip abroad in January amounted to 119,570 compared to 107,759 in January 2018, recording an increase of 11 percent, based on the Passengers Survey conducted by the Statistical Service of Cyprus.

On the basis of the results of the Cyprus Passengers Survey, arrivals of tourists reached 81,970 in January compared to 75,867 in January 2018, recording an increase of eight percent.
