The tourist product of the Larnaca region is constantly being upgraded and enriched. The region believes that improving the infrastructure is very important because by improving the image of the communities and by upgrading the various services and facilities, the visibility of the destination is also enhanced.

In addition, the most important aspect is the preservation of the specific character of each community through the upgrading projects. The objective of gaining a comparative advantage for the destination can only be achieved through the promotion of its authentic identity and its particular local characteristics.

A raft of projects that are starting or continuing during the year will bring exciting upgrades to some of Larnaca’s most popular rural and coastal communities.
