On December 13, a ceremonial visit of the Ambassador of Greece to Cyprus, Ioannis Papameletiou, took place at the office of the Mayor of Larnaca, Andreas Vyras.

As part of the actions of the Cyprus Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works to promote cycling as a means of transportation, as well as the multimodality of traffic, another 55 km of bike lanes are being launched by the State to be added to the existing 186 km of existing bike lanes. 

The Cyprus Shipping Chamber (CSC), as the trade association of the shipping industry in Cyprus, held its second blood donation drive for the year, with the supportive participation of its shipping member-companies employees, on December 15 at the Agios Georgios Havouzas Reception Hall, in Limassol.

An on-site meeting took place in early December between the Minister of Transport Communications and Works, the Director of the Department of Antiquities, and Larnaca authority heads: Larnaca Mayor, Andreas Vyras; Chairman of Larnaca Tourism Board, Dinos Lefkaritis, and President of the Larnaca Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Stavros Stavrou at the Larnaca District Archaeological Museum to view the status of renovations at the museum following intense criticism by Larnaca authorities and bodies regarding the protracted delays in its reopening.
