Viniculture has been well established in Cyprus for over 6,000 years, with the island holding the distinction of being home to the oldest named wine still in production, Commandaria.

In an attempt to promote the coastal city abroad, Pafos Regional Board of Tourism unveiled plans to participate in World Travel Market (WTM) London, one of the largest tourist fairs in Europe which will take place on November 06 – 08.

Aiming to encourage both locals and international tourists to visit the coastal city during the winter months, Ayia Napa Municipality in partnership with Cyprus Tourism Organisation has announced a full programme of cultural events to cover not just the Christmas period but the whole of winter season.

For the fourth consecutive year, Hermes Airports participated in a clean-up event in Pervolia which was organised by Vantage Airport Group, in collaboration with several non-profit organisations including the environmental group Greenovation of the Pervolia Community Council.
