Various Cypriot municipalities, from all regions, aim to help raise awareness for the card as a way to help encourage people with disabilities to participate and socially integrate in Cyprus’ events and culture. The card also boosts the circulation of a significant number of European tourists among the issuing countries.

The card gives its holders access to more than 100 benefits in the fields of culture, tourism, entertainment, sports and transport. Beneficiaries of the card are people with moderate or severe disability either physically or mentally, as certified by the Department of Social Integration of People with Disabilities.
