The work was created by the Cypriot artist Christina Mina and depicts a small coast with shells. On one side the artist used broken ceramics, modern style, intricately combined with colours, textures and shapes that match the colours of the area and on the other side pebbles, shells and granite of various colours.

Mina has also painted with the same materials and in bright colors the bins located inside the playground, on the beach sidewalk, which depict various designs inspired by marine life such as dolphins, seahorses, octopuses, etc.

Receiving the work, the mayor of Ayia Napa thanked the artist for her impressive creation, which she said has given the concrete bench elegance and colour.
He also thanked the president of the Ayia Napa Youth Council for the proposal submitted to the Municipal Council to include the project in the participatory budget, which he said was first implemented by the Municipality of Ayia Napa to give the the right of citizens and organised groups to submit their proposals by participating in the way in the project selection process.
